Next we had to do a user profile: a board showing the person our chair was for. (Even if the chair is for mass production, the idea is to try to summarise your target audience into one representative person.)

So, my user is creative, busy, design-savvy, organised but chaotic. She can’t sit in a chair properly – see the photos to the right of the user profile. My challenge – to design a chair she can sit in.
We started brainstorming ideas – the idea was to get 10 – 30 ideas on paper, no matter how silly they were.
